Huge shoutout to 2027 Bell Ringer, Charlie Smith! Charlie participated in the Alcatraz Swim for Sight - funds from the event will be used to move research forward to eliminate blindness worldwide. While not officially a race, Charlie finished the swim 4th among over 70 participants. The event is an open water swim from Alcatraz Island to Aquatic Park in San Francisco. Well done, Charlie!
